Welcome to Troop 216!

Troop 216 Troop 216 has been serving the Alamo, Danville and Walnut Creek communities since 1950. We are proud to be the oldest chartered troop in the Meridian District. The troop has consistently earned the Quality Unit Award – Gold Level, each year for leadership, outdoor programs and scout accomplishments.

DO NOT LET your SCOUT's SCOUTING AMERICA MEMBERSHIP EXPIRE. Their Scout Records will be dropped from Scoutbook, and the troop cannot do anything about any lapse in Scouting America membership. Membership Renewal is an annual process for youth and adult members to renew their membership. It's an online process accessed in My.Scouting.org. COMPLETE your SCOUT'S and YOUR RENEWAL TODAY. ADULT TRAINING SESSIONS

Troop 216 relies on their trained adults for all of the outings offered to the scouts. Please check out the upcoming training sessions, and become a Trained Adult! New adults should take Intro to Outdoor Leader Skills Training Part #1 and #2. Adults leading Summer High Adventures should take Wilderness First Aid and specific trainings for that high adventure (listed on their website).
